The Wai'anae Coast Comprehensive Health Center, the only vital services safety-net health provider for needy and homeless folks on the coast, will hold a fundraiser and dinner beginning at 5:30 p.m. at the JW Marriott Ihilani Resort on Oct. 20.

Funds raised at the $200-a-seat cocktails and dinner event will go toward building a new family medical center.

The occasion will also celebrate the center's 35 years of service in the community.

It will also pay tribute to two individuals who have made major contributions to the center — banker Anthony Guerrero Jr. and center physician Fred Dodge.
