rRed Elephant to host LushLife Music fest

LushLife Music Festival, a two day showcase of Honolulu's premier musical acts, is set for 7 p.m. Oct. 27 and 28 at the rRed Elephant, 1144 Bethel St.Tickets are $27.50 each night, available at 550-8457 or online at honoluluboxoffice.com
The first night will feature the Honolulu Jazz Quartet and pianist Rich Crandall on the ivories and Quadraphonix.
The second evening will be an eclectic mix of music with no boundaries featuring DeShannon Higa's Groove Improv Artists and Tempo Valley.
Comedian Dark Sevier will host both nights; part of the proceeds will help the University of Hawaii Jazz Band.
