Portion of Pua Loke Street to be closed today on Kauai

Kaua'i Department of Water officials announced that a section of Pua Loke Street, between Haleko Road and Kaumuali'i Highway, will be closed today, from 8 am to 2 pm. Only local traffic for businesses in the area will be allowed.The street will be closed because the water department will be hosting the 4th annual Make a Splash Water Festival for fifth-grade students from around the island at the Pua Loke Arboretum.
The Department of Water will accept water bill payments all day on Friday, but the water resources and planning division will not be processing water permits until after the event.
