Libraries to kick of Big Read project of 'Joy Luck Club'

As part of The Big Read Hawaii Project, the Hawaii State Library will host a free adult story program at noon Wednesdays featuring Amy Tan's "The Joy Luck Club," from Sept. 26 - Nov. 21.
Readers are scheduled to read aloud portions of the book on successive Wednesdays; by Nov. 21, the entire novel will have been read aloud.
