Warm, windy weather to hang around into next week

The warm but breezy trade-wind weather we have been enjoying the past several days will continue on through next week, according to the National Weather Service, thanks to a high-pressure area far north of the island.

Clouds and showers will favor windward and mauka areas, although a few sowers will reach into leeward areas as well, especially during the late-night and early-morning hours, forecasters said.

Here's how the next few days are shaping up:

Today, sunny with isolated showers. Highs 81 to 88. East winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.

Tonight. mostly clear with isolated showers. Lows 67 to 76. Northeast winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.

Saturday, sunny with isolated showers. Highs 81 to 88. East winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.

Saturday night, mostly clear with isolated showers. Lows 65 to 76. Northeast winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.

Sunday, sunny with isolated showers. Highs 80 to 87. East winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.
