Preps: Jenkins third, Keith fourth at Iolani Invitational

Leilehua's Bryce Jenkins and Mililani's Kristin Ali Keith were the top local finishers at today's 'Iolani Invitational held at Ford Island in Pearl Harbor.

Jenkins finished third in 16 minutes, 20.96 seconds on the 5-kilometer cross-country course. His Mules team finished third in the team standings with 96 points.

Matt Duffy of St. Mary's (Calif.) won the race in 15:58.82. Palos Verdes (Calif.) was first in the team standings with 49 points, followed by Lakewood (Wash.) with 84.

Keith was fourth in the girls race, finishing the 5K course in 19:45.27. Haley Abing, who competes for Maryknoll but attends La Pietra, was fifth in 19:46.09. Redlands (Calif.) freshman Robyn Arnold won in 19:10.10.

Redlands placed four runners in the top 10 to win with 33 points. Maryknoll was second with 118.
