CFB: Kentucky QB breaks mark for passes without INT

Associated Press

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Kentucky's Andre Woodson set a major college record today for consecutive passes without an interception, breaking the mark of 271 held by Fresno State's Trent Dilfer.

Woodson broke the record in the second quarter with his 15th pass in a 42-29 win over Arkansas. Woodson dropped back and, with nobody open, threw the ball away toward the right sideline. He tied the record on that same drive by dumping the ball off over the middle to running back Rafael Little for an 11-yard gain.

He finished 21 of 39 for 265 yards and two touchdowns, extending his streak to 296 passes.

Woodson, a senior, was last intercepted by Georgia in early November of last year.

Arkansas led Kentucky 20-7 when Woodson set the record.
