Forecast calls for more sunny, warm weather

Relatively dry trade wind weather is expected to continue through Monday with most areas receiving lots of sunshine today, according to the National Weather Service.

Showers will increase on Tuesday as an upper level low-pressure area develops north of the state, forecasters said.

The low-pressure system will hang around most of the work week increasing the possibility of rain in the windward areas, especially on Kaua'i and O'ahu.

Moderate to fresh trade winds will prevail.

Here's a more detailed look at the next few days:

Today, sunny. Highs 80 to 88. East winds 10 to 15 mph.

Tonight, clear. Lows 66 to 76. East winds 10 to 15 mph.

Monday, sunny. Highs 81 to 88. East winds 10 to 15 mph.

Monday night, mostly clear. Isolated showers after midnight. Lows 68 to 76. Northeast winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.

Tuesday, sunny with isolated showers. Highs 81 to 88. East winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.

Tuesday night, mostly clear with isolated showers. Lows 67 to 76. Northeast winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.
