Swimmer who died at Ko Olina was Oregon man

The Honolulu Medical Examiner's office today identified the man who died yesterday after being pulled unconscious from the water at the Ihilani Resort & Spa lagoon at Ko Olina as Alan Jansen, 74, of Oregon.Honolulu Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services personnel responded at 11 a.m.
The case is classified by police as an unattended death pending an autopsy tomorrow.
