Small surf expected, for the most part, today

Advertiser Staff

Surf along east-facing shores is on the way down but should still be in the range of 3 to 5 feet today, according to the National Weather Service.

Else where, expect surf of 2 to 4 feet along south-facing shores, 1 to 2 feet along west-facing shores and 1 to 3 feet along north-facing shores.

No significant new swells are expected through the work week. A small northwest swell is expected to arrive by Wednesday night, peak Thursday night, then slowly lower on Friday. A series of small background south swells are expected through the week. Small short period trade-wind produced surf is expected to continue through the week.
