Weekend work on Ala Moana Boulevard ongoing

HONOLULU — The state Department of Transportation advises Oahu motorists one to two of the right-most lanes of Ala Moana Boulevard in the westbound direction between Cooke Street and South Street will remain closed continuously through 5 a.m. Monday morning, Sept. 24, to allow for the construction of new concrete bus pads, curbs and gutters.Motorists are advised to use caution while driving through the work area and to allow for extra travel time.
