UH QB Brennan still among leaders in NCAA stats

Despite not playing last night against Charleston Southern, University of Hawaii quarterback Colt Brennan remains among the leaders in numerous NCAA statistics.

Here's how Brennan, who sat out with an injured right ankle, ranks:

--- Points responsible for: No. 1 at 32.0. No. 2 is Texas Tech's Graham Harrell at 30.0.

--- Total offense: No. 2 at 432 yards per game. No. 1 is Harrell at 485.3.

--- Passing (completions per game): No. 2 at 34.33. No. 1 Harrell at 41.50.

--- Passing yards per game: No. 3 at 420.67. No. 1 is Harrell at 490.75.

--- Passing efficiency: No. 6 at 185.4. No. 1 is Rutgers Mike Teel at 236.7.

--- Total passing yards: No. 9 at 1,262. No. 1 is Harrell at 1,963.

Punt returner Michael Washington is No. 2 in punt returns at 25.50 yards a return. No. 1 is Phillip Beck of Louisiana Tech at 26.20.

Kickoff returner Ryan Mouton, who had a 90-yard kickoff return for a touchdown last night, is No. 11 in kickoff returns with a 31.30 average. Minnesota's Jay Thomas is No. 1 at 39.17

The Warriors are No. 2 in passing offense and scoring offense.

They average 461.8 passing yards a game with No. 1 being Texas Tech at 521.0 yards a game. The Warriors average 55.75 points a game with Oklahoma being No. 1 at 61.50.

UH is No. 6 in total offense, averaging 514.3 yards a game. Louisville is No. 1 at 619.75.
