KHNL morning anchor taking a break from news

Advertiser Staff

With this morning's news program, Angela Keen has signed off as KHNL-8's news anchor, meteorologist and reporter.

For the past two years, Keen has been part of the morning news team on the NBC affiliate that precedes the network's "Today" show.

She will devote more time with a stepdaughter and husband and also with her ailing father, she said. "Then I plan to continue making a difference in the community. I love advocacy," said Keen.

While she won't be seen, Keen may be heard. "I am the voice on an educational toy ("My Little Explorer") that will be released this year from 'Thinkativity,'" she said.
