Dancer/choreographer Lee will share her insights on how culture and environment shape artists' social contributions within their communities. As a modern dance artist, Lee has toured China, Europe, Canada, and the USA.

Lee has received numerous awards for her artistry in dance including the SFCA's Individual Artist Fellowship Award and the National Endowment for the Arts Choreographer's Fellowship. Lee has worked in the arts on the Big Island since 1981. Her home and studio are in Volcano Village, where she cultivates tea as a grower and as an art form.
