Short power outage hits Ala Moana area overnight

Power was restored to 850 Hawaiian Electric customers at about 1 a.m. this morning following a brief outage.The outage was reported at 12:19 a.m. and affected customers on Pi'ikoi Street, Kina'u Street, Matlock Avenue and parts of Beretania Street.
A HECO troubleshooting crew was dispersed to the Kina'u and Victoria Street intersection where the source of the problem was located.
