Bank of Hawaii gives executives new assignments

The Bank of Hawaii Corp. said its chief banking officer and vice chairman Peter Ho will head its retail banking unit.The bank also promoted Senior Executive Vice President Shelley Thompson as vice chairman. She will be responsible for the bank's investment services division.
Bank of Hawaii said Vice Chairman Dave Thomas, who previously was responsible for its retail banking unit, expects to leave the bank in the near future.
