Rainbow Wahine volleyball remains at No. 13

The University of Hawai'i women's volleyball team remained at No. 13 in this week's American Volleyball Coaches Association poll, released today.

The Rainbow Wahine (10-3, 4-0 Western Athletic Conference) defeated Louisiana Tech and New Mexico State on the road in league play last week. Hawai'i beat New Mexico State 30-26, 28-30, 30-27, 28-30 and 23-21 on Saturday.

Despite the loss, New Mexico State (11-3, 3-1) moved up a spot to No. 24 in this week's poll.

Hawai'i plays at San Jose State (6-6, 0-1) today. San Jose State players include freshman outside hitter Brianna Amian, a Moanalua High School graduate, and sophomore libero Kristal Tsukano, a Kamehameha graduate.
