3 flu shot clinics set for Maui residents

Flu shots will be offered statewide this month through November, the Hawaii Medical Service Association has announced.

The injections are available at no charge for members of HMSA, HMSA 65C Plus and HMSA QUEST. Members need to present a membership card and photo identification. Nonmembers can get an immunization shot for $35.

In Maui County, the scheduled flu shot clinics will be held in:

  • Wailuku, from 8:30 a.m. to noon Thursday during the Maui PrimeTime Wellness Fair at the Velma McWayne Santos Community Center.

  • Kahului, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 9 at Longs Drugs.

  • Molokai, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 22 at the Molokai General Hospital.
