Hawaii visitors bureau heads to Chicago in 'full force'

The Hawai'i Visitors and Convention Bureau hits the road again this week to lure more business travel to the Islands with a team of more than 120 representatives to Chicago for the industry's premier trade show today through Thursday.More than 20,000 meeting professionals primarily incentive event planners and corporate decision-makers are expected to attend The Motivation Show, the world's largest exhibition of motivational products and services.
"Incentives are a huge component of our meetings industry and we are going to Chicago in full force to show why Hawai'i is the number one destination for inspiring employees and generating results," said Michael Murray, HVCB's vice president of sales and marketing for corporate meetings and incentives.
Joining HVCB in Chicago for The Motivation Show are sales professionals representing Kaua'i Visitors Bureau, O'ahu Visitors Bureau, Maui Visitors Bureau, Big Island Visitors Bureau, Hawai'i Convention Center and 67 travel companies statewide.
