Wind advisory for Big Island summits

Strong southwesterly winds have put the Big Island summits under a wind advisory until 9 a.m. today, the National Weather Service said.Winds of 30 to 40 mph are expected to continue through mid-morning, making driving difficult in the area. High-profile vehicles are particularly at risk.
