The Rachel Marie, the city's second ferry traveling between Kapolei and Honolulu, is repaired and ready to make its first run from Kalaeloa this morning, city spokesman Bill Brennan said.

A faulty master control unit in the port engine forced the cancellation of the 72-foot catamaran's inaugural cruise on Monday. A part had to arrive from the Mainland.

About 35 passengers were offered rides into Honolulu on TheBus or the option of waiting for the next trip aboard the Melissa Ann, which has been operating since Sept. 17.
