Recycing drive Friday at Niu Valley Middle School

Niu Valley Middle School will hold a recycling drive of HI-5¢ bottles and cans from 7:15 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Friday at the school's front driveway.Money raised by the drive will pay for teacher wish-list items and benefit the Friends of Niu Valley.
Students also will be learning about recycling and protecting the environment. This is one in a series of drives that will be held throughout the year.
Residents can bring their HI-5¢ bottles and cans to the school, and volunteers will sort them for recycling.
The school is at 310 Halema'uma'u St.
