BIg Island police searching for man wanted in Oregon

Ryan Crandall Hokulea Leialoha, wanted on domestic violence charges out of Salem, Ore., is originally from the Big Island but moved to Oregon about 10 years ago. He is said to be back on the Big Island and employed as a construction worker.

Big Island police are asking for help in locating a 31-year-old man wanted by Oregon authorities. Ryan Crandall Hokulea Leialoha is wanted for a warrant issued by a federal magistrate for unlawful flight to avoid prosecution. The federal warrant stems from state domestic violence charges out of Salem, Ore.

Leialoha is originally from the Big Island but moved to Oregon about 10 years ago. He is said to be back on the Big Island and employed as a construction worker.

He is described as 5 foot 9, about 195 pounds with brown eyes, dark hair, a mustache and possibly a goatee.

Police ask anyone with any information about his whereabouts to call Detective Robert Hatton at 808-961-2380 or the Police department's nonemergency number at 808-935-3311.
