600 soldiers from 25th Infantry returning home today

Six hundred soldiers with the 25th Infantry Division are returning to Wheeler Army Air Field today, with 310 expected to arrive at 4 p.m. and 290 more expected at 7 p.m.

A homecoming ceremony for both groups will be held at the air field.

At 4 p.m., the group of returning soldiers includes members from:

  • 3rd Infantry Brigade Combat Team

  • Headquarters, Headquarter Company

  • 3rd Battalion, 7th Field Artillery Regiment

  • 2nd Battalion, 27th Infantry Regiment

    At 7 p.m., the group includes:

  • 2nd Battalion, 27th Infantry Regiment

  • 2nd Battalion, 35th Infantry Regiment

  • 3rd Squadron, 4th Cavalry Regiment

  • 325 Brigade Support Battalion

    Overall, approximately 7,000 soldiers from the 25th Infantry Division deployed to Iraq last summer.
