SHOPO Bowl-A-Thon to honor late police chief

The annual SHOPO Bowl-A-Thon, featuring police officers, families and friends, is scheduled for Oct. 6 at Aiea Bowl and will honor the late police chief, Michael Nakamura, to help bring awareness to those living with muscular dystrophy in Hawai'i.More than 240 officers and citizens are expected to participate. All profits go directly to benefit local children and adults with MD, support programs of awareness, education and advocacy and MD research.
All donations are tax-deductible.
