Suspicious fire destroys vacant Big Island home

A fire which destroyed a vacant Big Island home today in the Hawaiian Beaches subdivision of lower Puna may have been deliberately set.Witnesses reported seeing a van with several male occupants in the area of the Limu Street home at 1 p.m., shortly before the fire started.
The suspect vehicle was a faded gold or yellow Ford Aerostar minivan with a loud exhaust system,
No injuries were reported.
