Barnwell changes title for Canadian executive

The board of Honolulu-base energy and real estate company Barnwell Industries has removed Warren D. Steckley as vice president, Canadian operations, the company announced yesterday.But Steckley will remain with the company as president and chief operating officer of Barnwell of Canada Ltd., a subsidiary of Barnwell Industries. Russell Gifford, chief financial officer, said the move was more of a "legal requirement" and that Steckley retains his daily duties.
