Police today arrested a 21-year-old man at his Honokai Hale residence on Pa'akai Street for investigation of attempted second-degree murder stemming from injuries suffered by a man struck by a vehicle during an early-morning brawl Sept. 9 in Kailua.

Another man, also 21, was arrested at the same home today for allegedly intimidating a witness in the same case. He was later released pending further investigation. The man had been arrested Sept. 9 for first-degree assault on a police officer trying to break up the affray on Hekili Street.

On Monday, police arrested an 18-year-old woman living at the same Pa'akai Street address on suspicion of attempted second-degree murder. She was later released pending further investigation.
