Staff shortage delays trash pickups in Kula

KULA – Staff illness and personnel shortages led to missed curbside trash pickups Wednesday in Kula, according to a Maui County announcement.The county's Division of Solid Waste will "make every effort" to pick up the refuse today when crews are available.
Areas affected by the missed trash collection were on Lower Kula Road between Morihara Store and Rice Park and on Kimo Drive, Waipoli Road, Copp Road and Holomakani Road.
