KAIMUKI
Topic: safety of pedestrians

Advertiser Staff

State and city lawmakers and pedestrian advocates will talk about efforts to improve walking safety at a meeting in Kaimuki on Saturday.

Residents will get a chance to pinpoint dangerous intersections and will be briefed on how they can reduce their chances of becoming a victim. The meeting will be from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. in the Ali'iolani Elementary School cafeteria.

The meeting is free and open to the public, but attendees are strongly encouraged to RSVP to make sure there are enough handouts for everyone.
