Free wireless service starts today on TheBoat

Advertiser Staff

Starting today free wireless service is available on TheBoat for laptop users looking to get a jump on their business day or just surf the Internet during their commute.

"This is just one more amenity we want to provide for people who are choosing TheBoat to make their morning and evening commutes," Mayor Mufi Hannemann said in a released statement. "I again want to express my thanks to the folks at D.R. Horton who have joined with us in making this public-private partnership possible."

This is the final day of fare-free service on TheBoat.

In the next several days, Hannemann said, the city will add 30 free parking spaces in Kapolei.

"We want people to let us know via our Web site, www.trytheboat.com, how they think TheBoat service can be enhanced," Hannemann said.
