Big Island teen faces theft, drug charges

Advertiser Staff

Big Island police have arrested and charged a Ka'u man in connection with a burglary in Hawaiian Oceanview Estates in Ka'u on Monday.

Stephen Graham, 18, of Hawaiian Oceanview Estates, was arrested Tuesday afternoon and charged Wednesday with first-degree burglary, two counts of second-degree theft and drug charges.

The burglary and theft charges stem from a break-in at a home from which video games and a laptop computer were taken. The drug charges stem from cocaine and glass smoking pipes Graham allegedly had in his possession.

Graham's bail was set at $25,000. He is being held at the Kona Police cell block pending a court hearing.
