Next week's First Friday goes Pink

Chinatown businesses will paint the town pink on Oct. 5 for PINK First Friday, to help kick-off breast cancer awareness month. Businesses will be in the pink — from decor to libations.Volunteers will hand out hot-pink orchids to passersby in a fashion show by Giinko Maraschino dancers from 6 to 8 p.m. Attached to each pink orchid pin will be a coupon for a breast cancer awareness informational session and free yoga class on Oct. 13 from 1–2:30 p.m. at Open Space Yoga in Chinatown.
