HALE'IWA
Vendors sought for harvest fest

Advertiser Staff

The annual Harvest Festival at Lili'uokalani Protestant Church on the main road in Hale'iwa Town is calling for vendors for the event from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 13.

The festival features local entertainment, the Royal Hawaiian Band, Hawaiian plate lunch made from scratch by church members, and a lucky number drawing.

Originally started to promote local farm goods, the event has expanded to include locally made jams, pickles, arts, crafts and more.

Steeped in old Hawaiian history, the church celebrated its 175th anniversary this year.

To participate, call 637-9364.
