A readers-theater presentation of Amy Tan's novel "The Joy Luck Club" will be offered at 4 p.m. tomorrow at Richardson Theatre, Fort Shafter.

The 45-minute production is part of The Big Read, an effort by the National Endowment for the Arts to promote readership in America. University of Hawai'i-Manoa English professor Frank Stewart will conduct a question-and-answer session afterward.
