UH QB Brennan still ranks high in NCAA statistics

Despite five interceptions yesterday against Idaho, Hawai'i quarterback Colt Brennan remains in the Top 10 nationally in NCAA statistical categories.

Brennan, who set an NCAA record for passing efficiency last year, threw a career-high five picks, though two came off deflections. His previous high was two interceptions.

The senior signal-caller is No. 2 in total offense and No. 9 in passing efficiency.

The Warriors also rank high in several offensive categories.

Here are the breakdowns for team and individuals who rank in the Top 10:

  • Brennan, No. 2 in total offense (415.8) behind Texas Tech's Graham Harrell (457.2);

  • Brennan, No. 9 in passing (169.0); No. 1 is Oklahoma's Sam Bradford (194.4);

  • Ryan Mouton, No. 10 in kickoff returns (31.30);

  • Scoring, No. 2 (54.2) behind Texas Tech (54.6);

  • Passing offense, No. 2 (448.2) behind Texas Tech (523.6);

  • Total offense, No. 7 (531.4); Texas Tech No. 1 (610.4);

  • Kickoff returns, No. 4 (30.8); Kansas No. 1 (32.8).
