UH takes second in women's sailing event

The University of Hawai'i women's sailing team opened its season with a second-place finish in the Bryson Women's Intersectional at the Stanford Rowing and Sailing Center in Redwood City, Calif.Host Stanford won the two-day, eight-team regatta with a low-best 25 points, capturing both the A (13 points) and B (12 points) divisions.
Hawai'i scored 77 points. Hannah Tuson-Turner (skipper) and Pamela Magasinn (crew) finished runner-up in the B division with 33 points, while Crystal Bronte (skipper), Leanne Horvitz (crew) and Darla Baldwin (crew) totaled 44 points for a fourth-place finish in the A division.
