Downtown Honolulu stabbing suspect arrested

Advertiser Staff

Police today arrested a 57-year-old man on suspicion of attempted second-degree murder in connection with a downtown Honolulu stabbing investigation.

The man was arrested fronting 1146 Bethel St. at 4 p.m., about 30 minutes after the stabbing at Bishop Street and Chaplain Lane near the Fort Street Mall was reported to police.

A male stabbing victim was taken to The Queen's Medical Center in serious condition, police said.
