Northwest swells bringing moderate surf

Advertiser Staff

Small northwest swells are raising surf along north-facing shores to 4 to 6 feet today, and surf along east shores will be 3 to 5 feet, the National Weather Service said.

Surf along south and west shores will be 2 to 4 feet.

A larger northwest swell is expected to bring near advisory level surf on Saturday for north and west facing shores. A north northeast swell is expected Friday, raising the possibility of harbor surge for north-facing harbors late Friday and Saturday.

A small south swell is expected to continue through mid-week.
