'Flower Drum Song' extended at DHT

By popular demand, Diamond Head Theatre has added an 8 p.m. April 11 performance of its hit musical, "Flower Drum Song."

Earlier, two extension dates were announced, for 8 p.m. April 12 and 4 p.m. April 13.

Tickets for the new playdates are $12 to $42, available at the box office, 733-0274, or online at www.diamondheadtheatre.com. Discounts are available for youths younger than 18, seniors older than 62 and active duty military.

The Rodgers and Hammerstein musical, adapted by David Henry Hwang, features Autumn Ogawa as Mei Li and Brad Mezurashi as Ta, and still boasts such hit songs as "I Enjoy Being a Girl," "A Hundred Million Miracles" and "I Am Going to Like It Here."
