Mililani library to close 5 weeks for renovations

Advertiser Staff

Mililani Public Library is scheduled to close temporarily for building renovations beginning April 14, according to the Hawai'i State Public Library System.

The project, expected to last about five weeks, includes replacing the air-conditioning system.

The library's book drops will remain open during this time. Customers' hold requests may be picked up when the library reopens. They will not be charged a hold fee for non-picked up items during the closure, library officials said. Holds may be canceled online at www.librarieshawaii.org or by calling an open public library.

Customers who want to renew their materials while the Mililani Public Library is closed may either call any open public library or the HSPLS Renewal Line at 586-3652 if there is no waiting list.

No donations will be accepted while the library is closed. To drop off donations during this time, call another public library or the Friends of the Library of Hawaii at 536-4174.
