A few passing showers in the forecast for today

Advertiser Staff

A high pressure area far to the north-northwest of the state will keep the trade winds blowing through the weekend, according to the National Weather Service.

Clouds and showers carried by the winds will affect the islands at times, forecasters said.

A little more cloudiness in our vicinity is likely this morning as remains of a front carried by the winds cross through.

Continued passing showers are likely for most islands, especially in windward and mountain sections.

High temperatures for the next several days are expected to be in the low- to mid-80s with low temperatures hovering around 70 degrees.
