CBKB: Tennessee star treating dislocated shoulder

By BETH RUCKER
Associated Press Writer

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Tennessee trainers are treating Candace Parker's left shoulder and will evaluate her injury as the team prepares for the Final Four.

Parker twice dislocated her shoulder during the Lady Vols' 53-45 win over Texas A&M in the Oklahoma City Regional final last night.

A team spokeswoman said Parker's shoulder was sore.

The All-American dislocated her shoulder in the first half going for a steal. She quickly returned to the game after being attended to by a trainer.

Parker grabbed her arm minutes later after trying to deflect a pass and went to the locker room just before halftime. She returned wearing a shoulder sleeve in the second half and finished with 26 points.
