Flight 1012 is scheduled to depart Honolulu at 1:50 p.m.tomorrow and arrive in San Francisco at 9:55 p.m. Return Flight 1011 is scheduled to depart San Francisco that same evening at 11 p.m. and arrive in Honolulu on Saturday morning at 1:05 a.m.
"We are doing all we can to help the state's visitor industry cope with this crisis and looking for windows in our scheduled service to get people home," said Mark Dunkerley, Hawaiian's president and chief executive officer.
Tickets for the Honolulu-San Francisco flight can be purchased online at HawaiianAirlines.com or by calling toll-free at 800-367-5320, starting at 5 p.m. local time.
Hawaiian also is working on scheduling special flights for Monday and Tuesday, April 7-8. The company will release more details if those plans can be finalized.
Because of Hawaiian accommodating displaced travelers resulting from Aloha Airlines closure on March 31, many of its transpacific flights to and from the western U.S. through next week are already booked to capacity or have just a handful of seats available.
Additionally, US Airways And Delta Air Lines said they will assist ATA Airlines customers in Hawai'i and Mexico who were affected by the abrupt shutdown of the carrier.
Both airlines said passengers holding ATA tickets can pay $100 per flight segment, plus any taxes and fees and travel on a space-available standby basis. Travel must be completed on a space-available basis.
Delta's reservations number is 800-221-1212. US Airways reservations number is 800-428-4322.
