Advertgiser Staff

A high surf advisory will remain in effect until at least noon today and may be extended for east-facing shores on O'ahu, the National Weather Service said. Surf along east-facing shores will remain 6 to 8 feet through today.

Elsewhere, the surf today was expected to be 8 to 12 feet along the north-facing shores of Oahu, 5 to 8 feet along east-facing shores and 2 feet or less along south-facing shores.

The current west-northwest swell will gradually decline Sunday and Monday.
