Volcano Art Center's Ferns of the Volcano workshop will be led by Tim Tunison, retired vegetation specialist and resource manager for Hawai'i Volcanoes National Park. Kona Earth Festival: Kona Earth Festival 2008 is a monthlong celebration of the natural and cultural resources in Kona includes an Earth Day fair, farm tours, a green building conference and hands-on volunteer activities such as tree plantings and clean ups.
