Cold War legacy to be topic of UH lecture

Barbara Rose Johnston of the Center for Political Ecology in Santa Cruz, Calif., will discuss "Half-lives and Half-Truths: Confronting the Radioactive Legacies of the Cold War" at 3 p.m. Thursday in Spalding Hall 155 Auditorium on the University of Hawai'i-Manoa campus.
The lecture is co-sponsored by UH's Department of Anthropology and the Center for Pacific Islands Studies.
