The Downtown branch of Territorial Savings Bank was robbed today of an undisclosed amount of cash by a man who fled on foot.

The robbery at 1000 Bishop St. was reported at 3:09 p.m. According to police, the robber approached a teller and demanded money.

Today's bank robbery is O'ahu's eighth in 2008 and first since Feb. 5. Police have charged suspects in six cases this year.
