BayFest tickets go on sale this weekend

Tickets go on sale at 9 a.m. Saturday for the 19th Annual BayFest, set for July 4, 5 and 6 at the Marine Corps Base Hawai'i in Kane'ohe.

Featured acts will be Little Big Town and Rodney Atkins on July 4, 3 Doors Down on July 5 and Everclear & Live on July 6.

Two tiers of ticketing will be available: one, for one-day access to the carnival grounds, military static displays and other festivities; the other, an all-inclusive ticket for access to the fest as well as the concert attraction.

The general public should purchase tickets through Ticketmaster outlets, which include the Blaisdell Center box office, Times Supermarket locations, by phone at 877-750-4400 or online at www.ticketmaster.com.

Prices vary: $24 on July 4, $29 on July 5 and 6; $48 for any two days; $58 for all three days.

Active duty military and Department of Defense ID holders may buy through the Information, Tickets & Tours (ITT) offices at MCBH Kane'ohe Bay, Camp Smith, MWR Navy Region Hawai'i and MWR Army Hawai'i.

Prices are: $20 for each day, or $50 for three days; BayFest only tickets are $5 for those 6 and older (free for keiki 5 and under).

Concert admission at the door will be $35 on July 4, $40 on July 5 and 6.

A midway of E.K. Fernandez rides and games, nightly fireworks and contests are among the attractions.
