Entertainers salute Don Ho, Aunty Genoa and Ray Kane Friday

The late entertainers Don Ho, Genoa Keawe and Raymond Kane will be remembered in special tributes in a Hawaiian 105 KINE Aloha Friday luncheon show, noon Friday at the Shore Bird Restaurant at the Outrigger Reef Hotel. Seating starts at 11 a.m. The show will also be broadcast live on AM940.

Hapa's Nathan Aweau, a one-time member of Don Ho's band at the Ohana Waikiki Beachcomber Hotel, will pay tribute to Ho, who died April 14; Pomai Keawe-Lyman, granddaughter of singer Keawe, will pay homage to her tutuwahine, who died Feb. 25; and Bobby Moderow Jr., a member of the group Maunalua, will remember slack-key guitarist Kane, who died Feb. 27.
